Global Competency Accelerator
Breaking the circle of poor education, low productivity and global workforce readiness is crucial for promoting inclusive economic growth driven by young people with a global mindset. In line with the United Nations SDG indicator 4.4 of substantially increasing the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs, and entrepreneurship.
Our Venture Accelerators are 4 months long. Led by local and global coaches that are teachers and industry professionals, the program coaches drive dialogue on global careers, career trajectories, skill development, life planning and self-management and support the students in developing a network to bring their business ventures into the market.
The learning outcomes of our Global Competency Accelerator are as follows:
- Develop decision-making skills through our VAPORS framework
- Develop smart goals
- Develop life plans
- Develop personal profiles (including personality type pofile.)
- Develop professional CVs
- Develop financial literacy and planning skills
- Develop social media etiquette
- Develop basic ICT skills
- Develop relationships with mentors
Program outcomes
Our Global Venture Accelerator identifies and nurtures in-school and out-of-school learners with demand driven professional skills, toolkits, etiquette and networks to be globally competitive and bring their products to market.
