The Global Leaders in Action program is a partnership between Emergination Africa and BusinessU Ventures, designed to empower high school students with the 21st century skills, entrepreneurship mindset , and global perspective needed to excel in a rapidly changing world. 

Hosted at the prestigious Oxford University, this two-week immersive experience blends cutting-edge academics, hands-on projects, and leadership development. Students tackle real-world challenges, explore groundbreaking ideas, and collaborate with peers from around the globe—all while building a foundation for lifelong success.

 

Program outcomes
  • Teachers develop a changed mindset and culture with regards to education, technology and global issues. 

  • Teachers develop an understanding of classroom management strategies that align to 21st Century education practices.

  • Teachers develop financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills that enable the creation of innovations for solving real-life problems locally and globally.

  • Teachers develop a hands on understanding of  project based  teaching and learning methodologies to enhance applied learning in line with their national  curriculum.

Who is eligible to apply for the Global Innovators in Action program?

The program is open to high school students aged 14 to 19 who would like to gain 21st century skills, an entrepreneurship mindset , and a  global perspective needed to excel in a rapidly changing world.

Where is the program held, and how long does it last?

The program is hosted at Oxford University in the United Kingdom and runs for 8 days. Check important dates.

How can students apply for the program?
What will students gain from participating in this program?

Students will develop leadership, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial skills, gain hands-on experience with real-world projects, and build a global network of peers and mentors.

Will this program ensure that my child will get a place at Oxford University?

No. But they will have mentors to guide them through their applications and will increase their chances of success.

What happens if a parent fails to complete the payment on time?

They can choose to complete payments in the 2nd Cohort.

How many students are required to go?

Each cohort is taking only 40 students
